Update - September 1st

As a result of the funds raised to date being somewhat lower than anticipated, the Development Team have had to revisit the original development plan. After much discussion, the following changes have had to be made;

Surrey St stand
This will now be a covered standing area, very similar to the existing 'Trenches' stand and will run between the 2 centre floodlights either side of halfway.

Changing Rooms
Because of the prohibitive costs involved in building a completely new structure, we are now looking at installing new drains and converting the existing clubhouse into a building that will house 2 large changing rooms, 2 officials changing rooms, a first aid/kit room as well as a new 'outside' toilet block.

Clubhouse
The land where the existing changing rooms are will be levelled and a new clubhouse constructed. The construction will fill the whole of the space that is left behind and will include a hospitality area as well as a new kitchen/Pie Hut.

Turnstiles
The existing turnstiles will need to be moved further up Surrey St to allow room for the new clubhouse. This will also allow for a larger access/egress gate which will adress many of the H&S issues we have.

In the short term, the above areas are going to take priority over all other aspects of the plan. We are hopeful that we will be able to start work on the new stand in the coming weeks as well as having the turnstiles moved before the end of September.

Our fundraising efforts continue and we are always looking for ideas or assistance in this area. if you feel you can contribute area please do not hesitate to get in touch with the Development Team at;
